Description: The CSPA Early Career Professional Award is presented on an annual basis to a CSPA professional member in acknowledgement of his/her exceptional professional practice in the area of mental performance consulting in Canada.
Award Criteria
The award recipient must:
Be a current CSPA professional member.
Have applied for the award within three years of having obtained his/her highest degree (Master’s or PhD).
Demonstrate exceptional professional practice in the area of mental performance consulting with athletes and/or coaches in Canada.

Procedures
Applicants must complete the “Call for Nomination” Form for the CSPA Early Career Professional Award and submit it electronically by April 30, 2023 to Clare Fewster at clarew@telusplanet.net
Applicants must ask 3 referees to electronically submit by the due date above, a letter of recommendation to clarew@telusplanet.net. Letters of recommendation should be provided by a client, a coach, and a CSPA Professional Member. Referees must justify in less than 750 words why they feel the applicant should receive the award by describing and giving examples of exceptional practice in the field, service to the sport community, and/or professional involvement.
Nominations are evaluated by the CSPA Review Committee, who will then make a recommendation to the Managing Council for final approval.
The award recipient will be notified by email in April 2023.
In order to receive the award, the recipient must submit a 1-to-2-page submission or article to the CSPA Managing Council on the topic of mental performance consulting. This article will be included in a future CSPA nationally-circulated newsletter!

Description du prix
Description : Le Prix de l'ACPS pour les professionnel(le)s en début de carrière est présenté annuellement à un membre professionnel de l’ACPS en reconnaissance de ses pratiques professionnelles exceptionnelles dans le domaine de la consultation en performance mentale au Canada.
Critères du prix
Le lauréat du prix doit :
Être un membre professionnel actuel de l’ACPS
Avoir posé sa candidature pour le prix dans les trois ans après avoir obtenu son diplôme le plus élevé (maîtrise ou doctorat)
Démontrer une pratique professionnelle exceptionnelle dans le domaine de la consultation en performance mentale avec des athlètes et/ou des entraîneurs au Canada
Nature du prix
Le lauréat du prix recevra :
Certificat de reconnaissance
Cinq cents dollars (500 $)
Procédures
Les candidats doivent remplir le Formulaire de mise en candidature et le soumettre électroniquement d’ici le 30 avril 2023 à Clare Fewster à clarew@telusplanet.net
Les candidats doivent demander à 3 références de soumettre électroniquement d’ici le 14 avril une lettre de recommandation à clarew@telusplanet.net. Les lettres de recommandation doivent provenir d’un client, d’un entraîneur et d’un membre professionnel de l’ACPS. Les références doivent justifier en moins de 750 mots pourquoi elles pensent que le candidat devrait recevoir le prix en décrivant et en fournissant des exemples de ses pratiques exceptionnelles dans le domaine, de ses contributions à la communauté sportive et/ou de son implication professionnelle.
Les nominations seront évaluées par le comité d’examen de l’ACPS qui déposera ensuite une recommandation au conseil de gestion pour son approbation finale.
Le lauréat du prix sera contacté par courriel en avril 2023.
Afin de recevoir le prix, le lauréat doit soumettre un article de 1 à 2 pages au conseil de gestion de l’ACPS sur le sujet de la consultation en performance mentale. Cet article sera publié dans une future infolettre de l’ACPS.
