Student members are students or young professionals who have an interest in applied sport psychology and who may be training towards achieving the membership requirements with the CSPA.

Apprentice Members are early career professionals who have completed formal academic training but have not fully completed the supervised practice hours required for CMPC®.

*A student can maintain student membership up to 1-year post graduation. Afterwards, your membership will be transferred into an apprentice membership.

Join the Huddle!

Just like the athletes we hope to one day work with, who huddle up to discuss strategy, create game plans, and support one another, CSPA student members can do the same at a quarterly virtual hangout, connecting, sharing, and growing together with fellow student members.

Context:

  • You are provided with a slide deck and presentation guidelines in advance.

  • Submit a brief summary of your experience after your presentation

What You’ll Need
  • A confirmed commitment from a professional CSPA member willing to co-deliver a campus presentation.

  • A confirmed commitment from a professor or course instructor in an undergraduate kinesiology, psychology, or human kinetics–related course at a Canadian university.

Why Get Involved?
  • Compensation: $150 per speaker (Max 2 speakers)

  • Professional development through real public speaking experience
