Bio
I’m Dr. Renee Raymond, a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist registered in Ontario and Alberta, and a Certified Mental Performance Consultant.
I work primarily with high-performance athletes and performers, including those competing at the Olympic, Paralympic, professional, and varsity levels, as well as dancers and others in demanding performance environments.
My work focuses on the intersection of mental health and performance, including confidence, pressure, injury recovery, and burnout. I take a practical and collaborative approach, helping clients better understand what’s going on and build strategies that feel grounded, sustainable, and aligned with who they are, both in and outside of their performance environment.
Additional Training
I hold a Doctorate in Psychology, along with a Certificate in Sport Psychology from California Southern University. I also completed an MS in Clinical Psychology at Walden University and a Specialized Honours Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science/Psychology at York University.
I have additional training in couple and family therapy through the University of Guelph, and I am an EMDR Certified Therapist.
