Bio
Laura has a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Ottawa and is trained in educational and performance psychology. She is a registered clinical counsellor (RCC), an approved clinical supervisor (ACS), a chartered professional coach (ChPC), a CMPC® and an approved mentor through CSPA/AASP. She has worked in the field as a mental performance consultant (MPC) for over 25 years. She applies her knowledge and skills as an MPC and RCC to sport, exercise, and health contexts through her private practice, Mind in Motion Consulting She is also Associate Faculty in the Master of Counselling program at City University in Canada (Vancouver) and a Lecturer at Simon Fraser University (Burnaby). Finally, Laura has formal training in supervision and has mentored numerous up and coming professionals in the field of mental performance through Mind in Motion’s MPC mentorship program.
