Upcoming Applied Sport Psychology Continuing Education Opportunity in Calgary, AB
The AB region of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA) will be hosting a 1 and ½ day symposium consisting of a wide variety of topics on Thursday and Friday, June 6 and 7, 2019. Thursday schedule will be late afternoon, 3:00 - 5:00 pm with a social event to wrap up the day. Friday will be a full day of athletes and professionals sharing their stories, knowledge and expertise. The focus of these two days is to provide professionals, academics, and students in the field with a professional development opportunity with time to collaborate, network and ultimately build relationships and knowledge. Dr. Shaunna Taylor is the Executive Director of PacificSport Okanagan, and she is committed to developing athletes and coaches in the BC Interior. She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia in the High Performance Coaching and Technical Leadership program, and is the Co-Chair of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association. Shaunna was formerly a coaching consultant at the Coaching Association of Canada, and she sits as a member of the SportMedBC High Performance Committee, and the International Paralympic Committee's (IPC) Women in Sport Committee.
