In October 2021, CSPA-ACPS entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) to certify mental performance consultants, including those who are existing who wish to be professional members of CSPA-ACPS.  The current Memorandum of Agreement is valid for two years (January 2024) and permits gives all existing professional members of CSPA-ACPS with access to the CMPC Examination through an expedited application process. The CMPC® certification program is nationally accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).​
